Personal hygiene maintenance is a practice that contributes to good health. It improves the physical, social and psychological health of humans. In 2015 , half of India’s (568 million people) suffered from deadly diseases due to open defecation in fields and water bodies. According to reports , India being the second-largest populated country, lacked basic sanitation facilities. However, rapid progress was noticed in the country with the help of WASH.
